Greetings from the 53rd latitude.
Had our first tomato July 24th.
Been eating them fairly steady since.
Jalapenos have no capsaicin, 2nd year in a row. I've starved them and restricted water to them out but so far no heat. Same with the poblanos.

All grown in pots (about 25 of various peppers and tomatoes.) Deer protected, big issue here.
The goal this year is to make a batch of salsa with all our own tomatoes, peppers, onions, steal some garlic from my sister. haven't done that since we left the farm.

all sounds great.. I miss mu huge plot... but still have plenty to feed me :)

if I liked rabbit I would never go hungry here LOL Actually have wild turkeys on my lawn occasionally :)
