From the latest Forbes ASAP:

Among other things, Gilder mentions that the advances in Silicon Germanium technology are real breakthroughs, as opposed to minor advances such as IBM's copper wires on chips. NSM is supposedly investing heavily in SiGe.

Gilder is talking about gigahertz clock speeds, pulling even with GaAs, but at a significant cost advantage.

I wonder if (or when) we will see SiGe MPUs

Jim,

Did you notice the 8% bump in IDTI stock today on very large volume? They are up 60% in the last 5 weeks.

I think that the C6 detractors on this thread might be wise to reconsider their position. NSM would be very smart to snap the C6 up before it completely pushes them out of the low end market space.
