It helped my dad get his education when he came back from WWII. Education doesn't guarantee a job, but it sure helps you get through the door of the white collar jobs club. I just do not understand why repturds want to slam the door shut (apart from just being assholes) because it makes economic sense- that's why Germany gives students (even non-Germans) free college, as do several other countries.

The Base imagines themselves in an Apocalyptic Rapture where college isn't needed because 144 thousand of them are lifted up to sit with Jesus. With tens of millions of Charismatic Christians, though, if what they believe is true (i.e., the absolute and Divine truth of the Bible), then nearly all will be left behind. The R's leaders imagine themselves as the kings and lesser vassals that are never seen in the Mad Max future who are also the first to be eaten.
