Brumar,
I question whether Putin can keep sacrificing Russians forever. You have confidance that he can. I don't.
Do the math. PooTin has 350K active duty troops with 2M in reserve.

Like I said, he will continue throwing warm bodies into the meat grinder by the tens of thousands, because he can spare that many.

Since it's inevitable that he will eventually mobilize the entire Russian army toward his war of choice, I say let's hasten that outcome instead of grinding it out over a period of years.

Is it risky? Sure. But being risk-averse has even bigger costs, as we have already seen with the Crimea invasion and our lackadaisical response to it.

Let's not forget that the RuZZian economy has a long way to go before it hits rock bottom, especially given its oil and natural resources.

By the way, look at North Korea. They've been a thorn in the side of the free world for decades now. Kim Jong-un can make his people suffer for eternity.

Same with PooTin, and he's got much more power than little Jong-un-y.

We aren't going to win this war with denial and wishful thinking.
