I don't think there is any way to pressure the Swiss because there is no limit on how long they can be short. When the restricted shares become free-trading, they can cover, even if its years later.

They will stay short until their reg D shares are tradeable and then just cross a block of stock from the short acc. to the long account essentially ending their risk free arb. They made free money. Move on .This practice is just part of Wall Street. However, You can bet that Martinez will go to his shareholders first the next time. I think he got the point on this one!!!!
