Yeah he should read "13 days" as well. Those seemed like strange times then, but they've continued to the present and we think we've somehow adapted.Like the proverbial frog as the water stopped being cold.

McNamara apologized for Viet Nam at the end of his life.

There were some real hawks - General Curtis (Bombs Away) LeMay came off as a nutter. Robert McNamara came off as better than I expected. Because he was "in charge" for much of Viet Nam - I wasn't expecting him to be the voice of reason.
