Someone actually noticed how wrong that analysis has been. I swear this is one of the few stocks where down is rationalized in such a big way. Reality - the stock is being sold as I have tried to tell you for the last while. Do you ever ask yourself where all those shares are coming from? First question I would ask if I was holding here. I would lean toward substantial holdings being liquidated, any other view of this chart is very creative to say the least.
This stock is being accumulated?? Yes, someone is on the other end of all those sell orders. If this is viewed as some positive development then we are really into dreamland. This type of accumulation has a history of making stocks real cheap.
My guess, contrary to popular belief here, people in the know are liquidating, and selling cheap stock. If this is true?? You might want to ask yourself why? Since they have all that gold, right? If it is not true, then seriously, where do you think all those shares are coming from. I know, its granny with her 500 shares and she keeps pounding the market for the last two and a half months. Well, if it is, then Granny is looking real smart right now. My bet, Granny is wearing a suit, and is having a great time.
Anyway - I love to get those juices flowing over here, and I know you are going to like this -
My latest read on this chart is getting worse. I now expect to see a climatic sell, which I (many) associate with plays like this. It has to have lots of volume.(capitulation) That is how I read this chart and the changing psychological attitude.

Hope? Possible reasons this might not happen - price of gold rises, and whole gold sector moves up dragging the speculative plays along for the ride, or, better yet for the holders, I am wrong in my analysis and you hit the mother load.
Meanwhile, I am patient in waiting for a real buy on this stock - certainly there is not a strong signal at this point.
I reiterate one of my favorite quotes, which took me a long time to grasp,(as simple as it is) and still rationalize sometimes (usually at my cost)it does seem appropriate here:
"On HOPE- When the ship starts to sink, don't pray, Jump." From the Zurich Axioms - 12 year old book, but still a good read for any speculator.
Some have questioned my motives etc. - my contribution - I will put it back to you this way - I may not have bothered to crawl around the mine, spend time rehashing grades, tonnage, costs etc.etc. I just told you clearly, from a voice of experience in this type of deal, what it looked like to me. You might want to think about that when all those "facts" start to cloud your judgement. The "facts" here say -nothing is clear - beware.

Eric
