Jim,
CA is making offer for Computer Sciences so they clearly wanted to get their cash from SSAX, which they have done. I expect they worked out something with the Canadian Bank to sell them the remaining 1.2 million shs. Selling of shares by CA IS NOT A Negative IMHO.

I hate it when others make unsubstantiated statements --so I will set the record straight up front--90% of what follows must be considered heresay--unsubstantiated--untrue- or just straight BS.

So what is my point--It is about pricing and volume in the shares of SSAX. First, it is my firm opinion that BPCS 5.0 was introduced to the market before it was ready. It was over budget and still needed a lot of work. BPCS 6.0 through 6.4 (current version) is a quantum step forward--so good in my opinion that it has some competitors" frothing"--so what can they do--they can "bad mouth the company"--they can try to steal the company (that is what CA tried to do and came very close to doing it--closer than I think I want to know)--so where are we now--not in bad shape. IBM is introducing the AS4000e which is a big jump forward in mainframe--SSAX is both mainframe and open systems ready--the product is good.

Further--I'm betting on the relationship between SSAX and IBM (the worlds largest industrial software company in case anyone should ask) to strenghten over the next year--why--I think they need the technology which SSAX developed to integrate into their software for the AS4000 series as much as SSAX needs IBM. Like the purchase of the UK affiliate which was a Win Win (kogel post) strategy.

Well that's my UNSUBSTIANTED, UNASKED FOR, AND MAYBE UNWANTED OPINION.

Maurice

I certianly agree with you observations. I was one the LongNs on Dec 8. as you can imagine I took a bath. This time I want to be better prepared. Your statement about investor having all the info in their hands before earnings is what I am working on. Todate we have the following info.

1. CA 2.6 mil shares
2. Purchase of New affiliate
3. Bain Settlement (450K)
4. Unknown dilution of stock 45,49,55,57 mil.
5. New office in Finland.
6. Analyst (HQ) are forcasting EPS at .03 using 45 mil shares
7. Analyst (HQ) have increased operating expenses 14.6 points.
8. BPCS 6.04 is selling.

Is there any other cost related items. I will not let Skadra and the gang suprise us this time.

regards

Cali
