Oh, well that's certainly different I had a room-mate when I was in my early 20s. Didn't live with him for long but I know he liked girls. We talked about "hot chicks" and such. And I know he had a girlfriend or two. But a couple times when I came home he was sitting on the couch with some guy. I didn't know who he was. It was late so I went to bed. After I moved out another friend called me up one day and said Richard had killed himself with a shotgun. Evidently he was seeing this guy in addition to dating girls. Somehow his family found out about it and he felt ashamed. I had no idea any of this was going on, I had moved out. I always thought "poor Richard, you didn't have to kill yourself"

I think there are a lot of repressed people out there. My friend's neighbor was aggressively coming on to me on a camping trip. Wasn't like it was coming from a point of affection but one of self-gratification. It wasn't just me - but sort of "broadcast" to my friend and me. We both said - "You know, we're 50 miles from Reno - and you live near San Francisco - so if this is something you want to do, just go do it. But we aren't interested." This guy's a freak in a lot of ways - not because he wanted to explore his sexuality in his 50's but that he has this really hostile sense of "humor" and will shout out inappropriate stuff for shock value. He was the president of a fraternity in Missouri - maybe they acted out homo-eroticism there like in Animal House- IDK. But while I've had people indicate attraction - my lack of interest was graciously accepted - this was just creepy. He has one son and daughter that won't speak to him so I do wonder if he acted out with family.
