BC, name the last war the US military won We actually won in Afghanistan, until we tacked on that "nation-building" thingy. Osama bin Laden was eventually found and killed. Al Qaeda scattered like rodents. And for almost 20 years, we had a base of operations from which to conduct the war on terrorism. We chose to leave because it was no longer worth staying there. I argue that we could have done it while preserving the "win" for what it's worth. Unfortunately Brandon turned the exit into a completely FUBAR act. Tenchusatsu
