I thought of you at an auction a couple weeks ago. I was hoping to get a car cheap but they bid it up to what I think is way too high. It was a 67 convertible Camaro. Body pretty good. Good glass and interior. Missing a lot of little stuff though around headlights, fender skirts etc. Originally a 6 cylinder but was re-engined with a 327. Missing ID plate on firewall but good plate in doorjamb.
I figured with missing parts, different motor, ID problem and it turned over but didn't run it might go cheap. It went for $20k which I think is nuts. It needs repainting too. I figured it would take another 5-10k to finish it easy and it still won't be an original restoration.
I'd rather build a Cuda.

Bob, land of the free yes. So true.

I have been so many places, always found enjoyment in all.

Including Goldsmith. Last time I was there was in ~ '99, doing some consulting work.
I never owned a home in Texas, but worked in nearly every segment of the state. Spent so many nights there it was like home at times. A great state. Many fond memories, including target practicing after work on the 4 sixes.

I watch The Yellowstone, the foray back to the 4 sixes really piqued my interest.

Maybe I go down and watch an F1 race one of these years.

Bob and ym .... still a LT bull.

Cohu coming into buy range again. I may add ... or add some AMBA. I like to diversify have a good bunch of Cohu. AMBA beat on earnings, but guided lower revenue for next quarter. So getting whacked today.

I came across AMBA not too long ago. Chart is a lot like Cohu. They are a fabless semi designer, main area of involvement is that AI area related to image processing. This area has so many future applications, many yet unknown. The biggie is autonomous vehicle driving. A lot of small firms are involved in this area in one way or another ... Mvis, Aeva, Lazr, Tsp .....

Aeva and Lazr are on a lot of lists. On my list too.

Looks like Amba has started a third wave up, just like Cohu, and is finishing the first major correction of what should be a long 3rd wave. Looks ain't everything however. If this one holds 55 plus ....

Cohu on deck.

Shopping season. Think I will lower my bid a bit, there is a small gap at 24.75, bet it fills.
