February 11, 1998 08:30 AM

CULVER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1998--MediaX Corporation MXMX today announced it has signed a distribution agreement with Ingram Micro IM , the world's largest distributor of computer products and accessories. With more than $12 billion in sales and over 100,000 resellers, Santa Ana, California-based Ingram Micro is the world's largest distributor of computer products and accessories.

Additionally, the Company said it has signed WillowRun, a leading Vancouver, Canada-based firm, for representation to mass market retailers throughout Canada, which represents the world's second largest English-language software market behind the United States.

MediaX noted that ''Peter Norton - PC Guru'' will be its first product for distribution through both Ingram Micro and WillowRun and, as the product was being presented last month at the Ingram Symposium in Toronto to a large Canadian buying audience, first product shipment is already underway. MediaX last month reported that it has received marketing commitments for ''Peter Norton - PC Guru'' from mass market retailers including Staples, Comp USA, Best Buy, Computer City, Tiger Direct and others.

Nancy Poertner, MediaX chief executive officer, commented, ''As had been widely anticipated, demand for 'Peter Norton - PC Guru' is clearly gaining momentum throughout North America.
