On March 23 Lukoil called for Russia to immediately cease hostilities in Ukraine.

It has taken a full five months for Putin's Security Team to give the CEO of Lukoil a six story fall due to a larger than expected backlog of Russians requiring "window treatment". - newsweek.com

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, "All those requiring window treatment, please, we will get to you but you'll have to be patient."

I have a friend in the 'hard money' lending business. These Russian clowns wanted to borrow $1,000,000 against a $10,000,000 property they bought on the Kohala Coast. He asked me what I thought....

"10% LTV has very low risk. But suppose(just suppose) you have to foreclose. You really think Igor and gang care about the US court system?"

He passed on the deal.

The Russian state-run energy company had shut down the Nord Stream 1 pipeline on Wednesday for what it said would be three days of maintenance.

Germany's coalition government has agreed a plan to provide financial assistance to households amid the energy crisis. "We will get through this winter," said Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

This is the third relief package this year. The two previous ones included a gasoline rebate, which expired at the end of August, the €9 transportation ticket and an energy price flat payment to workers.
