Jack:

MAESA's money went to the preferred shareholders, not us poor common shareholders. That's Joe [the musician] playing Taps in the background.

As to why Joe's not around now, I don't know; could he be silent on the advice of counsel?

***Response from Joe Lanza***

Dodger,

$1,370,000 was paid to Maesa preferred A shareholders. Not one dime
came to any Lanza. A director (who was among the A shareholders) has
returned enough money so that Maesa can go after the truck stop, and I
am asking the others to reinvest some of their restitution so Maesa can
pay the legal bills involved with the restitution case.

I am sure some news will be forthcoming soon.

Joe
