Market exceptionally weak here. Looks like a lot of trapped longs. Let's see the close, but my shorts were very muted on the bounce and some of them have 20%+ SI. Energy hanging on, but wouldn't take much to start another vicious leg lower. I'm out of many of my trading positions and down more to a core again. Have LT gains on a number of issues now so I'll be hedging vs selling out on core issues if it gets there. Any guesses on where we finish today on SPX? Failure today to close higher today would mean next pt of short covering/long scalping is Sept 13th CPI report. Can't see us doing a full re-test of the market lows prior to that report, but certainly not impossible. 50 ma on AAPL around 156.7, if it take out this week's low looks like 150 is in the cards which probably leads to 3800 ish SPX prior to next chance to bounce. I don't have a good read very ST.
