Brumar,
We should not start a World War in order to defeat Putin.
WE are not going to start WWIII. That decision is all on PooTin. And he'll move the goalposts as much as it is convenient for him.

In other words, if he wanted to start WWIII, he would have already done so. He didn't because there's nothing for him to gain from such a move.

In any case, fighting RuZZia to a standstill will only benefit PooTin. He will then call for a cease-fire to declare "Mission Accomplished" and buy time to rebuild.

Not only that, but he'll further cement his grip on Crimea and the pre-February borders and give Ukraine absolutely no chance at ever liberating those areas from RuZZian occupation.

No need to tell me that PooTin already paid a "high price" for his FUBAR decisions, because it's clear to the whole world that he is (and will always be) willing to pay that price.

The only way to truly defeat PooTin is to make it so that even the Kremlin can't spin it as a "victory" on their end, except in the most absurd way (e.g. claiming that up is down, or that bombs suddenly make 180 degree turns before landing near a nuclear power plant, etc.)

The only way to truly defeat PooTin is to completely and utterly take the conquest of Ukraine and any other neighboring European country out of HIS realm of possibilities.

Until that happens, PooTin will try again and again. And that's no victory for the free world.

There can be no peace without victory.

Brumar, let's keep fighting RuZZia to a standstill.

In the process, RuZZia will single-handedly stimulate the economy of North Korea (assuming they can meet RuZZia's demands, which itself is highly questionable):

That's the price of a proxy war.

That's the price of not fighting to win.

No one wants WWIII, but too many people are denying that Cold War 2.0 is upon us.

P.S. - I sure can't WAIT to see North Korea's version of HIMARS in action. Can you?
