<< He is one bright (and lazy) dude.>>

Hey, when the shoe fits........

Yeah, I think the whole DNA on a substrate market has sure gotten muddy. Hyseq sues AFFX, AFFX sues Synteni (INCY), and if I recall correctly, Southern has a new patent that should have precedent over AFFX and ?????. There are lots of ways to hybridize, too bad this is turning into an ugly legal battle, instead of letting the markets decide what is best. One thing INCY has on all of these guys is access to more high quality DNA than anyone else. Hope everyone gets their acts together and works out cross licenses and lets science and medicine progress instead of just helping the lawyers to pay for new toys while progress stalls.

If you're looking for targets to dump, it might be time to take GENZL out and shoot it in the knees. It's nice stuff if you've got screwed up knees, but I'm just not convinced that the market size and profits are there, it just seems to crawl along and doesn't seem able to stand on two feet. Hey, maybe it's already been shot in the knees? Plus, we pick up any possible big upside in GENZ indirectly. Just a thought.
