"I have had a few people tell me they don't know how to interpret the results of this portfolio"

I can't speak for others, but I figured the portfolio was no longer worth following at the end of 2011, when you
claimed a 17%+ gain when the S+P was up 2.10% with dividends reinvested for the year.

"2010: $54,949.87 ... 2011: $70,221.20"

IRA accounts were limited to $5000 then. Add in $35 a month into the TSP and you have a total of $60,409.87.

Total for 2011 = $70,221.

$70,221 - $60,410 = $9811.

$9811.13 divided by $54,950 = 17.85%.
