That sounds not good. I agree, BI has to acknowledge the AS400 systems. All the IS Managers i know (that is, the ones who spend the budget) have AS400's to deal with. The last thing they want is to put those big bad boys away in a closet. They want to run them till they drop, or until wrist-computers are more powerful, whichever comes first. I've used the BDE for connecting to SQL db's, and it's solid. I'd like them to add access for Object db's, b/c i see that as a coming need. Cheers, m
