In my first job for a software company after ALREADY having made my bones beating service bureaus with real time online order entry and inventory on a lowly TRS80 LOL I put my hand up for EVRY new job that had never been done before.. I always succeeded .. yes it was really tough at times.. ,, BUT I always succeeded .. which was why they always wanted me to put my hand up :).. had two software 'jobs' then struck out on my own .. all my clients came to me.. .
