I think they deferred this background compilation thing to the next version. Not sure what everyone is so excited about. A minor (VERY minor) glitch in what is indisputably the best c++ product out there. Who does any meaningful work in the few seconds a compile and link takes? If anything, I use that time for an unrelated function -- checking email, etc., which I'm still free to do, of course. This is just not a significant feature for MOST people....
