Shane and others:
CNBC reporting this morning ( 8:15 a.m. EST) that Kurlak is currently holding
an internal conference. Kurlak continues to speak negatively about
semi stocks saying that first qtr YOY will be negative. Pricing for
DRAM's continues under pressure. Sounds like the same comments made in recent weeks. ADI estimates lowered by Cowen. Sounds like semi
stocks should be under some pressure this morning. AMAT called up $ 1.00----go figure. UPDATE CNBC at 9:40 a.m. just commented that
LSI and TXN will be under pressure in response to Kurlak's comments.

Shane,

Re: Adopting a wait-and-see attitude!!!

IMHO that's the best attitude to have in these times of uncertainty. The semi-equip is trying to find a direction as we speak and until it does it's no use having good money sit idle. I reduced my position in AMAT to 66% last week and I'm down to 33% this week. My brain is telling me to buy puts or sell covered calls...but it's hard to cure an old bull... I love taking a little chance now and then.<g>

LSI got dragged by MU and others today...mild profit taking, I say.

Asian markets not looking too good tonight.

Regards,
SF
