I'm a Metricom user and shareholder, not an employee. Who do you work for? Metricom's current coverage areas are well known so I question why you choose to disparage the company based on a clearly positive development. You don't use the product, you probably don't own the stock, you work for a competitor. Your posts have limited credibility here, dude.

Speaking from _actual_ experience, MCOM's strengths over current wireless solutions include low cost ($30/mo. unlimited), small size (1/2 the size of traditional cell phones), and long battery life (6-8 hours). Current speed ranges between 24 and 32 KBps (Autobahn will push this to 128Kbps). I use mine almost 12 hours a day and love it.

I've been benefitting from my Richocet for almost 6 months now. How does your solution compare?
