Called the company today and thought I would post what I've learned.

Bull Points

1)Fundamentals
- Zmax has close to 10 million in cash on the books.
- Co. is well into the DOUBLE DIGITS in millions in backlogged Y2K revenue for 1998.
- Management is so encouraged by it's financial position they are looking to make 2-3 acquisitions in the next year. Not the strategy of a company with problems.

2)Management
- Zmax has one of the more impressive board of directors in the Y2K industry. Take a look at the bio's and compare to companies like ALYD, ACLY, SEEC, PTUS and others and you will see my point.
- Director Ed Yourden will be keynoting the SPG Conference in New York next month. Other keynote speakers are Ed Yardeni and Tony Keyes (Y2k fans will know these names).
- After Yourden, you have Berty (former head of Cap Gemini), Fine (co founder Level 8 Systems), Komar (represents Fiserv's interest in Zmax) and others...

Bear Point

1)WHERE IS ZMAX's NASDAQ LISTING? This listing has been supposed to take place for well over a year. With it or a listing on the ASE (I was told today that this was a possibility as well) the price of Zmax should easily correct back up to former levels. Without a listing, Zmax continues treading water in a deep sea.

Finally, it was pointed out to me again today (after some righteous bitching on my part) that the LARGEST shareholder in Zmax is Mike Higgins (he and his co-founder own over 30 percent), that he can sell no stock as it is restricted, and that no one would be happier than management to see nasdaq (or ASE) listing take place.

Still holding (and will buy more with listing news).

Sincerely
