Mark Slivers, I need to do a little name dropping first. I used Tug McGraw for a sales promotion I ran for Subaru back in 89' and he was just a great guy to deal with. We spent about a week with him doing shows in Dallas and Cherry Hill NJ, for the Subaru top brass and he just wowed them. But his final trademark comment was "you gotta believe" which we tied in to our promotion concept.

Back at the ranch...We finally have a Naxos that is doing a great job at keeping the lid on things just like they are supposed to and so many people start getting nervous. It is quite funny.

My opinion is that if we had bad news, THAT would get out very quickly but good news motivates in a different way and raises the bar so to speak on the Naxos management to keep it quiet. Think of it this way, if you were about to take a dive, what would you have to lose in telling some buddies that testing was going sour? But, if good news was going to put Naxos on the map and confirm the last round of tests with multiple results and start you off on a whole new image for the company, that is a long range plan that requires a smart start which gets back to acting like professionals to be treated like professionals by the market. And that means, KEEP IT QUIET!!!

This is a good thing.

I also have a question for any naysayers left out there, WHY would anyone still be with Naxos at this point in time if you beleived that management issues or testing issues or property issues or any other issues could kill the whole deal? Why not take your money and get into something easier and safer? There seems to be a lot of head scratching when someone supports the basics of where we are today. I spent the first year studying the Naxos story and was VERY critical for that period. I came to the conclusion that they really did have the metals and it was just a matter of finding the right way to get it out...which they now appear to have done.

(By the way, between false prophets, saints and lions, all we need is Charlton Heston and we are ready to do a Cecil B. Demill film here)

Whenever the news comes, I am personally confident that Naxos can reproduce the numbers from the last tests and possibly even improve on them due to the 3 opt number reached in the non COC tests. You can't prove what isn't there.

Hang in, and Mark, you might want to try hugging beech trees...smoother bark, less slivers.

Regards,

Tom F.
