Lunar up amid talk of large Russian order
CHICAGO, Feb 11 (Reuters) - Shares in Lunar Corp, a maker of systems
that test for human bone density, jumped 2-3/4 early Wednesday to 25-3/4
in over-the-counter trading.
Analysts said the Madison, Wis.-based firm was one of 35 companies
reportedly involved in a large order of medical equipment made by a
Russian buyer, but details were unclear.

Lunar could not immediately be reached for comment.

''Lunar was tagged as one of the companies involved in a $70-million
medical equipment order to the Moscow Academy,'' said Hans von der Luft,
analyst at Tucker Anthony.

Another analyst said he doubted whether the Russian order was big enough
to explain the stock's movement. The shares were up as much as four
shortly after the opening bell.

I don't think that 50% gross margins on a 70M order (which represents 88% revenues growth) is not big enough to explain the stock's movement this morning!!! The stock will regain shortly...
