Thanks for the info on T Rowe Price Small Cap Fund - I think Kauffman also owns a good bit of Qdel common but I don't know the %%%
I think all Qdel investors would be wise to check out the latest 10-Q filed w/ the SEC, especially the info "NOL" relating to tax loss carryforward. It is my understanding that Qdel has an accumulated tax loss carryforward of approx. $70 million since the early 1980's and now that it is a profitable company for 3 years, Qdel can begin to use it. I know they consider this NOL to be a valuable asset and the 10-Q strongly suggests it will have a positive effect on reported earnings per share in 4th qtr 1998. Check it out!!!
