Hi,
Beemer's solution only works with COBOL programming in software apps and is not applicable to embedded systems.

Regarding the BMR Vertex 2000 software. As already indicated, it deals with COBOL programs. Also, it is not a fix but a patch. There has been a pretty thorough discussion of it on the TPII thread - some 200 posts or so ago. Don't count on a silver bullet approach to the Y2K problem, however. Even the Vertex 2000 solution only works in limited number of applications...
