Brumar, I don't see anything in that article that proves they were lied to. All I saw is that the Democrats are trying to find proof, along with that "Perla" story that seems a bit weak.

Even Ms. Crocodile Tears, Attorney-at-Law, admits that the migrants were shown a map of where they were going, though she cries about how the map was "comical." Boo hoo.

In any case, what the migrants were told is 100% consistent with the "sanctuary city" rhetoric that the Democrats were fond of until recently.

The only sin that DeSantis and Abbott is guilty of is insincerity, and maybe not calling ahead to inform Martha's Vineyard (or other "sanctuary cities") that they're going to receive a constant stream of migrants.

But that's a far cry from kIdNaPpInG or hUmAn tRaFfIcKiNg that the left is accusing them of.

By the way, the left has no legal recourse to stop the transfer of migrants. Maybe Brandon can issue an executive order, or maybe the respective governors of those states can close their borders, but that would look absolutely silly.

I just thought of something else, Brumar.

If the priority is the well-being of these migrants, shouldn't they be sent to a place where they will be welcomed with open arms?

After all, the so-called "red states" like Texas and Florida are full of gun-toting, xenophobic, Trump-supporting "insurrectionists" who would not hesitate to kill kill kill lAtInX people (can't call them "Latinos," mind you, because that's sExIsT).

Heck, even the phrase "Florida Man" is a popular meme and describes a typical crazy-ass resident of Florida.

Why leave these poor migrants at the mercy of the Q Continuum?

Better to send them to greener pastures, where average incomes are higher, the citizens are more educated and "caring," and there are a LOT of vacant residences that can be repurposed as migrant shelters. I guarantee you that the migrants would be much better off in places where they will be welcomed with open arms.

Besides, their local leaders said it themselves. They have declared themselves as "sanctuary cities." And because we all know the left means what they say, we can trust that the left will gladly back up their words with action.

"Give me your tired, your poor ..."
