Brumar, Interesting argument. But that's what the GOP Jesus squad wants. They want as much cruelty as possible. They're not sadists, Brumar. They just want the migrants to GTFO of their "red states." It's the "blue states" who say they will welcome the migrants. "Diversity is our strength," they claim. There can be nothing more "diverse" than to take in these migrants and demonstrate compassion. Let's not forget that immigration is what makes America great. Even Alexander Hamilton is proof of this (h/t Lin-Manuel Miranda). With a declining birth rate and a severe shortage of workers, the "blue states" can prove to the rest of the nation that expanded immigration is a net benefit to America. Hence instead of whining, moaning, and complaining about DeSantis and Abbott, the left should be all like, "Great! Let's demonstrate liberal compassion and prove to the rest of the nation that we can accommodate all of these migrants!" But nope. All they want is to cover up their own hypocrisy by projecting their own selfishness upon the "red states." Add in the usual race card bulls--t, and they'll give themselves a pass. Every. Single.
