The US stock market is transitioning to the second stage of the Bear market. The first stage was inflation/rates driven. The next stage will be earnings driven, as earnings and employment get hit hard. Q1 2023 will be an absolute nightmare for the Bulls.

In the very short term, seems like some traders are trying to front run a Fed relief rally on Wednesday and/or some short sellers are remaining cautious ahead of the Fed meeting.

If short term history is any guide, any strong market rally on Wednesday is one to fade.
