Call me the last optimist, but at least they are comfortable letting the #'s speak for themselves, and don't feel a pressing need for "spin".

I'm not bothered at all by the delay between release and conf call. The rules say the release must be by the 15th or they're late.
There is often knee-jerk selling if a company announces earnings will be late. The company is doing the right thing.

If Jenkins is on the road until Tuesday [I think Monday is a holiday], no big deal - I'll wait.

I hope some will "sell the news" on the earnings report, providing another buying opportunity before the conf call where info is released which will move us to new highs.

Friday is the buy day before Tuesday the real news day! <gg>
