I always say that losses cut are just as good as profits pocketed. If I think a stock is getting cheaper, even in the short term, I bail, with the understanding I can end up with even more shares later if I correctly identify the bottom. I don't envy your position, though. This is a volatile stock, and it'd be hard to pull the trigger on a sell order because of doubt as to whether it really is the bottom. I really can't tell when watching this one. I expect major downward resistance at the $1 level (we're there right now) and it'd be a positive sign if it can hold that level for at least half an hour. If it busts below it, though, it could get really bloody. Personally, because of Farsight's new commission structure, I shy away from anything under $1. I didn't initially buy into this one until it was about $1.05. I wanted to at 66 cents, but knew the commissions would be murder.
