I made my very first stock trade almost exactly 30 years ago. It was a short sell of a thinly traded jr telco. 1300 shares were traded on that day, of which 1000 was mine. I was the "market maker" <g>. I made $3k off of that. But I covered too soon b/c eventually they went bust. It could have been much better. My 2nd trade was a long trade of a small steel co. I called them. Their office was walking distance to mine and I actually met with their cfo. The guys in the office were impressed that these guys actually picked up the phone to talk with me ;)

...oh the good old days!
If I only knew then what I know now!!
