No opinion Paul. I've been watching Seachange for a while with
interest but I gather they have their own little domain they are
operating in, I'm just not sure how they fit in. CCUR considers
Ncube their major competitor. On a different topic, Tmrent has
expressed his opinion that CCUR does not compete that well for
large systems and I respect his opinion but we have talked to CCUR
and they don't agree with Tmrent (but would you expect them to?).
So the question will remain open until all eventually settles out,
some with cable orders and others maybe not. After seeing CCUR's
system in Orlando, I tend to agree with CCUR that theirs will
work fine for cable systems (I can't see why not). Obviously
CCUR knows what they are doing in the server market but we shall
see if they have a competitive system within the next few months.
