I say have voting not nuclear war. I like voting. Imperfect, but generally seems better than murder.

That would be the optimal outcome. And yet, our “developed” world is too sophisticated for such simplistic solutions. Reality MUST be in agreement with bureaucrat’s Big Ideas. Their principles are the real thing - not the wishes of some farmers and laborers in Donetsk. So, off to war we go.

Early in the war I realized that the world was at the highest risk of military use of nukes since August of 1945. I thought it was about 20-30%. By now, it’s an easy 50-50.

Russia announced a mobilization - and Putin warned that he isn’t bluffing. It doesn’t look good.

Unfortunately, our opposition to our participation and funding of a stupid war, for stupid reasons, while led by the most stupid President in history, will be recognized as correct only after the disastrous consequences of this abysmal episode are fully developed. By then, it won’t matter.

God help us.
