>>> CA has all the money but interest in acquiring Centura. <<< Cathy, even if CA was (in fact) planning to acquire Centura, why would CA reveal its interest now ? Or for that matter, why would CA agree to renegotiate the terms of the $10M loan as Centura would like you to believe is going to happen ? Let us (collectively) think about it for a second. Would we not advise CA to drag-out the negotiations until March instead ? By then Centura will have been kicked out by NASDAQ, its shares will be trading between 3/8 and 1/2 a Dollar (if you are lucky), CA will own the bulk of the company, and CA could then move in for an easy kill (read: at a bargain basement price). If this happens, CA would likely keep only whatever source code and software engineers they like, sell and lay-off the rest, and never even blink an eye. Nothing but a drop in the bucket of its many acquisitions to date. IMO you can forget about any other suitors at this point in time; and the above scenario is the only plausible one involving CA that I can see. And Cathy, this may be only my opinion, but the same (or very similar) scenarios have been suggested by many others both online and offline. Therefor I can't help but wonder what it is that you, Veiko, and others still see in Centura ? Could it be that you are letting your analysis of the company as an investment opportunity be clouded by your love of the development tools themselves ? If so, this may be the time to reconsider because whatever capital you still have languishing in Centura could be about to lose at least half of its present value within a matter of days. But anyway, I have not been able to convince you of anything in the past so I am not about to try now. If you (all) decide to hang on to a sinking ship until the bitterly cold end at least I will rest easier knowing that you had ample warning that the NASDAQ iceberg loomed ahead...techstocks.com p.s.
