This is mind-boggling, hardly the VERY minor glitch you seem to think it is.

Again, you are correct. With this glitch BORL will probably only sell 200,000 to 250,000 copies of C++Builder this year. Damn them!

I'm not saying it is an insignificant missing feature -- just that it is not that important to most people. The compiler, while much slower than the Delphi compiler, is still reasonably fast. Small projects, involving 10-20 forms, can be compiled and linked from scratch in a minute or two; recompilations and linkings are much faster. It really isn't a big deal. That is, unless one just compiles as a trial and error way of programming, which is, of course, poor programming practice anyhow.

To call this a "fundamental design flaw" would have to be considered an overstatement, in my view....
