ATCI seems to be starting to take off. Up 7/16 in early trading. Volume already equals it's average daily volume.
Is this the break out that Doug has been looking for? The beginning of the Large gain to come?

Thanks

Scott

Jim, Doug & all:

I did a bit more digging on VECO

Veeco Instruments Inc. is a leading worldwide manufacturer of precision Ion Beam
Etching and Deposition Process Equipment, Process Metrology, Leak Detection and
X-Ray Fluorescence systems used in the fabrication of microelectronic components. The
Company's global customer base is comprised of leading manufacturers of mass memory
storage devices, semiconductors and flat panel displays, as well as a broad range of
industrial products, which Veeco serves from 15 facilities in the U.S. Europe and
Asia-Pacific.

Very nice web page:
veeco.com
biz.yahoo.com
www1.wsrn.com

TA
VECO has fallen from a high of 73 in 9/97 to 18 on 12/15/97 associated with the SEMI & Disk drive industry weakness.
It has broken out strongly with alltime high volume over the past few days, up today alone by 5% to close at 32 1/4
It has a float of 5 MM
MA's--broke above the 50dma
Double bottom
Downtrending resistance broken
RSI Inverted H & S breakout
My concern technically, is whether to wait for a pullback from the upper BB, or if volume is powerful enough to keep it going without looking back for a while.
