It was at 104.5 when I said it was going to 119. It's half-way there already after just a couple of months.

Yes. If there was any alternative, the US$ would be a lot lower. Unfortunately, there isn’t. Until the dollar reverts to its historical mean, foreign assets will be cheap. I see that as a buying opportunity, for long-term investors. Especially European and Chinese stocks.

Looking around our troubled world, I think it's difficult to make a case for the dollar to start weakening soon.




How about this case, A weakening economy in recession with a declining stock market and reduced consumer demand?
