FM >> Didn't Goldman Sach's take part in the disastrous secondary public offering at then 35 now 17 1/2? <<

Don't know , but it's been speculated that those that bought the secondary had first shorted into the run up to 55 than dumped their newly acquired stock on the market causing the decline and cashing in on their short. Sounds like something that should happen given the manipulations of the street.

General Stuff..

Noticed that Syquest is burning at a rate of 9.75 mil per month, with 12.7 mil cash on hand they should be running out of cash soon, ( could already be out.)
The only way to compare sales is same quarter to same quarter Q1 to Q1 .
Should have been the best quarter with the holiday season and all. These guys are going backwards big time aren't they, from 48 mil to 32 mil ouch!

Have made comments about wanting lower prices on Zip drives and should give proper notice that the ATAPI Zip drive bought in an OEM 5 pack is now wholesaling for $420. or $84.00 each, You should be able to pick these up at any custom computer store for $99.00.

Had the opportunity to install a Sparq drive this last week and my first impressions were not good. The cartridges seemed real flimsy.
You have to make a concerted notice that it has properly seated when inserted or it won't read ( it drops down after being inserted ).
There are other things that I don't like about it but don't want to seem too picky, I can however foresee problems with this unit in the future.

The Syquest report should put to rest worries about loss of market share

I would be happy to join any effort to engage the law firms that have filed class the class action lawsuits against IOM
IMO these guys are blood suckers.
