There is an option to show potential developing patterns, so yes you can see the patterns prior to confirmation.
For that Anti-Crab, if you calculate the difference between the D and C points, you'll find that the X point is the 1.618 of that. Another way to look at it is to start counting at the D point and make that your X, so C would be the A and so on.
