Brumar,
I disagree.
Fair enough, but consider this.

One reason why PooTin was able to build up his kleptocracy is because he successfully made a deal with the RuZZian population.

The population, for the most part, is outsourcing all of their politics into PooTin's hands. As long as their daily lives aren't too badly affected (oh noes, no more McDonald's or Starbucks!), they'll allow PooTin to do whatever the Brandon he wants.

That deal is now coming to an end thanks to "partial mobilization."

You see what happened? The majority of RuZZians were depoliticized and ambivalent toward PooTin.

Because of that, now they are being dragged into PooTin's war of choice.

This is an important lesson for the whole world.

Assuming that your priority is peace, then strength of conviction is the best way to avoid a fight (e.g. Switzerland, Japan, America during the Cuban Missle Crisis).

Conversely, the best way to get dragged into a fight, other than to start one yourself, is to show ambivalence (e.g. India, the average RuZZian citizen, America during the early years of Vietnam).
