Good detective work there george. Are you studying my methods :-)
I think I said somewhere her work was not much for x. She was probably in the reduction in force in 94 or so, and was retained as consultant.I

George,
I guess our reaction to this news release validates Postman's position that semantics need to be taught. The "for the past four years...worked as an independent...consultant..." told me she was not a current employee of Xoma--for the past four years. And yes, it may be interesting that she wanted everyone to know that she worked for Xoma for 6 years, but coupled with the observation that she was Director of Pharmacology and Toxicology it makes perfect sense that she would want this high level management position on her resume, reguardless of her feelings towards Xoma and rBPI. The 6 years indicates loyalty, and because she mentions it, it also indicates that she left on positive terms with her employer. The two positions wrap up 10 years of employment history.

This is certinly nothing go get paranoid over, but I concede the lack of any other news makes us focus on it harder than we should and try to read something into it. You know I've long held the position that Xoma is off of everyone's radar screen and some of that is of Xoma's own doing (like it causing the bio-tech crash). We are in on the ground floor re-construction of this one (asuming rBPI really works).
