I can recall MU trading below book value at other cycle lows. However MU today is a much better company today in a less crowded field. At some point an investor has to take a risk in an attempt to find a long term inexpensive entry point in a stock.

MU is still being treated as a commodity DRAM supplier. It is much more than that. That is not to say that MU could not have a couple of quarters where they lose money. I say so what. That is nothing compared to what they will earn in the next economic upswing.
