Hick, when curling first started it was really bocci.. but being that it was too cold up here, the first curlers couldn't hold onto their balls so they put handles on them and had their better halves squish them a little so they'd be flattened and much more likely to slide along with the slightest push, much like unca ickie's followers the sport happened when they wanted to see if they could knock the next guy's balls off the table as an excuse for drinking copious amounts of T-Bird and Molson Golden, otherwise the wives or the chicks would assume they were talking about them and making fun of them and laughing at their expense, which would never be true, instead of just engaging in a sport
