To visit my daughter and her family, they moved to northern Montana a couple years ago, we have to drive through the potato growing region of Idaho where they grow the foot long monster potatoes. Always a pleasure to eat those bigguns.

their potatoes are a dry potato like the Idaho potato . great for baking. farms are knocked down and potato companies have come in and just run rows of potatoes. I assume chip companies? my cousins sold or rented the farming right to these companies in the 80's.
