Today in IBD's mutual fund section.
I noticed Marquis Value Equity A on page has as one of top new buys--
NE with 70,300 shares.

Just an FYI.

Will be interesting to see if buyers step up to the plate this afternoon for FGII before earnings come out.

TCMS NEWS:TransCoastal Purchases Pipelaying Barge
HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1998-- TransCoastal Marine Services, Inc. (Nasdaq:
TCMS - news) has expanded its oil and gas pipeline installation capabilities with the acquisition of the
LB-207 pipelaying barge from Essar Oil Ltd.

The vessel, to be renamed the Vermilion Bay, handles pipe as large as 48 inches in diameter and works
in water depths up to 300 feet. The 350 x 60 x 22.5-foot laybarge features two tensioners and an
articulated stinger with capacity of 185 kips. It also is equipped with eight-point mooring and a
four-man saturation diving system capable of operating in water as deep as 600 feet.

''This acquisition gives TransCoastal Marine Services greater capacity to serve producers and
transmission companies in the transition zone close to shore and in deeper water,'' said Bo Smith,
president. ''And in the current Gulf of Mexico market, we see no shortage of opportunities to put the
Vermilion Bay to work.''

''It should be ready for service in the Gulf of Mexico by late April, in time for the peak pipelaying
season,'' said Smith.

TransCoastal Marine Services, Inc., headquartered in Houston, is a marine construction company
focusing on the transition zone and shallow-water regions along the U.S. Gulf Coast. Its services
include pipeline installation and repair; hydrostatic testing and commissioning of pipelines; and
fabrication and refurbishment of offshore drilling rigs, barge drilling rigs and structural components of
fixed platforms.
