People can throw together systems that are hackable.

But a properly designed system would function fine. I’m comfortable with having access to my bank and stock accounts online, health care information, and the stuff I work on. There is no reason we can’t easily secure voting systems in this way. These days most everything is end to end encrypted anyway.

With proper management it can be far more secure than what we now have.
