I've lost dear friends and family members to Covid. They'd still be around if we had the vaccine back then.

I blame Trump and Trudeau for this mess (one is conservative and the other is liberal, so this is not a based on politics). They both knew well in January of the risks of Covid-19. Did they buy masks or prepare emergency hospitals or *any* kind of preparation? No. The world watched China weld building doors and send in the military to build 10 emergency hospitals in 10 days in February. Did any of them start even rudimentary preparation work? No.

But what did they do? They warned hedge funds and venture capitalists about it. Tells you where their priorities reside.

Now unlike China, you can't weld doors here and confine workers to factories. So the vaccine and social distancing was the best that could be done after the fact.

BTW, I don't "know" all that you think you know. We definitely knew far less about covid back then. A whole bunch of medical researchers wondered if it is a vascular disease, a plumurary disease, a neural virus, etc etc. And it is still not well understood.
